The area surrounding Ponta is unbelievably beautiful, with lush tropical forests, and deserted clean beaches. The favored pastime of non-divers is simply relaxing on the beautiful beach that stretches along the entire coastline.
Non-divers can experience a wide range of activities such as trips to the nearby Elephant Reserve and adjacent lakes, as well as bird watching, and 4x4 trips, and quad biking. The bay is ideal for jet skiing, and for safe launching of fishing boats. Fishing charters can be arranged on request with prior notice. Snorkeling trips to visit the resident school of Dolphins in the bay is also a firm favorite, especially with the kids.

Because of the frequency of Dolphin sightings in the bay and adjacent coastline, by prior arrangement, SCUBA ADVENTURES conduct snorkeling trips to enable non-divers to experience the magic of swimming with these gentle creatures.
One or two large schools seem to be resident in the area, and have become accustomed to swimming with snorkellers - a truly unforgettable experience. One also does not need to snorkel with them - viewing from the boat is just as thrilling!
Dolphin trips are conducted early mornings each day, subject to demand. (Minimum of 8 persons) Harmless Whale Sharks are also often encountered on these trips. The month of February is great for mantas, Dolphins are sighted year around whilst whale sharks are in abundance from November to February.
